Hey folks, just want to wish you all a happy new year! I also want to take a moment and reflect on the year, specifically art-wise! You see, due to my job, I hadn't as much time to draw as I used to back in the day. So this year when I got depressed about my job, I decided to get back into drawing a bit, which really got the ball rolling again. So I want to share the pieces that got me back into the fold. Here are my top 5 favorite art pieces I've made this year: 5. This piece came about when I was bored at work, sketching random things to pass the time and I took it upon myself to try and draw people as best I could. Katy Perry's California Girls may have been playing at the time, but I thought to myself, "I wonder if I could draw her?" And as a TF artist, I can't just draw a character, I have to TF *into* them~ This was the first art piece posted in the new year it got a bit of my creative flow going again. 4. Now, it's no secret I enjoy a bad-end corruption transformation
With this post I want to officially announce that I plan a TG animation contest between artists. The intention: The reason for this competition is simple: TG animation content is generally really sparse (even when I'm not on a hiatus). I know that a lot of TG artists who usually do still images did at least once a animation because they're interested in it and I wanted to give especially them a motivation to get back to it. This doesn't mean that artists who do animation more regularly won't participate too, though. But I generally think a TG competition between artists is a exciting idea. The planning: Before I wanted to announce it I wanted to make sure that a bunch of artists are willing to participate and well... I already got a bunch of artists. I'll keep them a secret for now, though. :) I started to outline the rules, worked on the procedure and made my thoughts about the voting system. The voting will be most likely conducted by a handful of artists and people I trust and
